Summer Yellow Love Makeup

So right now in Australia its getting hot and summery, which means wearing bright colors is a must. So today I wore this really bright yellow top, with my favourite yellow head band, so I thought wearing yellow makeup work be fun.

So the first thing I did was use Urban Decay Primer to prime my eyes. From there, I used NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow in Milk to create a white base so that the yellow would look more opaque. Next, I used my 120 Palette and used the bright yellow colour to go over the lid ontop of the white base. Finally to add more definition to the eye, I used my Urban Decay Naked Palette and used 'Naked' and 'Buck' to put into the crease to define my eye.

Finishing touches, I applied eyeliner pencil to the outer bottom water line and smugged it a little bit into the lash line. I didnt wear any liquid eyeliner and I dont usually ever wear liquid. I also put two coats of mascara onto the top lashes and one coat on the bottom.

From there, I just did my everyday face, by adding foundation, powder and filled in my brows.

Hope you guys like this look and come back to check out more looks.

Industrial Piercing - New Bar

So I think about last week I posted a blog about my industrial piercing. I posted that about when my piercing was 2 weeks, but it has now been almost 4 weeks and I have already changed my bar. Now, I have had a few piercing before and I know that a piercing should never be changed until 6 weeks, but this piercing has its reasons.

Now, I will firstly tell you about the bar I changed it too before I tell you the reason I changed. I am now currently using a smaller rainbow Titanium bar. The bar not only looks awesome and depending on where you stand when you look at it, it changes colour, but Titanium is a very close relation to surgical steel (or at least thats what my piercer said). By having this titanium bar in, it is a saved metal to use in a piercing.

Why did I change to early?

Where my industrial piercing is, its a very frigidity, touch place and therefore having a long bar is bad. Whenever you have a piercing, the biggest thing is to leave it alone and try not to touch it and this can be hard when you have such a big bar in a small area. My piercer told me that if my bar is too big and the piercing gets irritated by this, after 4 weeks I am aloud to change it to a titanium bar. Ever since I changed my bar, it has healed alot better since the big bar isnt irritating my piercing when it gets touched.

Overall, this is my favourite piercing. I have heard of alot of people have trouble with this piercing, but I havent. It has healed well so far and barely even been swollen. If you wanna get a piercing, dont be afriad, it isnt that bad at all.

Also, I am not a pro or anything, but if you have any piercings I can try to answer it. I have/had over 8 piercings so I can try to answer them for you.

Kardashian Kollection Purse

This would have to be my most favorite purse I have ever had. Now I have to say, I am not much of a brand name person or even a Kardashian lover. I dont know much about them, but I do think their line is pretty and they are all beautiful. With that being said, I think this purse is very funcational, but fashionable.

Now there are certain things that I want from a purse:

-Hold my phone
-Look good
-Hold all of my card
-Coin Area

I am not much of a hand bag person, so I find that half the time I use my purse as a bag. I need my purse to hold my phone and be fashionable enough to hold when going out. I really think that this purse does all of this. The fact that the opening of the purse is a zip means that the purse can expand a little bit more to hold a phone or other bigger items. The purse has eight card slots, which is a decent amount. There are three sections and one zipper section for coins, which makes four sections in total.

The out side of the purse has a really cool, blingy, studded design with the KK symbol in the middle. I have seen this purse come in many colours like black and nude, but I have the pink since it was the only colour available at the time. I think that even though I am definetly not a 'pink' girl, the pink colour isnt too girly and the gold studs have a edgier look.

I have had this purse for a while, at least a couple of months and the wear is great. After having it for a while, some of the colour around the edges have faded and only a few of the studs have fallen off. Considering I am pretty rough with purses, I think the wear on this purse is great and still look pretty good. I definetly love the design and will be buying another one when this one dies.

Nails of the Day - Colour Block

I love to colour block my nails. Adding one nail a different colour I think just adds a pop to any nails and makes them a bit different. I used three different colours for this look:

-Creative Nail Design in Nylon Blonde
-BYS in Pink Panic
-BYS in Shimmer Golden Sands

I made sure to firstly to paint my nails a white so that the colours really stand out and dont look patchy. This is a really great tip that I always do when painting my nails. I love these nails and I love wearing these nails all year long. Although, in Australia, summer is coming and I feel so great to wear these bright yellow nails in the sun.

Hope you like these nails. I love the colours

Work Jewelry

I love jewelry, but at the same time I dont own too much of it. I have my reasons why, in between work and school, I really dont have heaps of time to spend wearing jewelry. Therefore, when I want to buy jewelry, I want to know that I am able to wear the pieces to work. I thought that I wanted to tell you guys about my jewelry, because if you wanted ideas on what to wear to work. So here is my list of jewelry.

Necklace: So honestly, I own a white gold and diamond key necklace that I never take off. I don't own any necklaces, but within saying that, wearing a necklace to work adds a nice touch. Making sure that the necklace isnt too big, I think a necklace is nice.

Earrings: Studs!! One word, studs. Studs are making a huge come back and even though it sounds boring, there are lots of really nice designs. I own so many studs, anything from pearls, stones to more exciting things like disco balls, owls, bows or mustaches. There are about a million and one studs out there and what I love is that studs dont get in your way, yet are also visible to add a pop to your look.

Bracelets: On average, I dont usually wear bracelets to work, within saying that, I do think its looks nice. To wear maybe just one bracelet or bangle is really nice to add something, yet wont be too much to get in the way. Adding just something small, that wont get in the way of working is good.

Watches: My favorite!!! I say, any watch it appropriate for work. Really, my main rule is make sure its waterproof, thats it. I think watches, big, small; bling or plain are all great for work. Oh I love watches.

That is pretty much all the jewelry I own. I own lots of watches and studs, but not too many big earrings or bracelets.

To Nail or Not to Nail?

Oh nails... I dont know if I love having nice nails or hate them. I have serious debate for both.

Im not a very girly girl and I am often way too rough with my nails. Whenever it comes to simply putting nail polish on, I find that after a day or two it chips. This bugs me so much since I spent all that time putting it on, waiting to dry and now I have to spend more time taking it off. Why not get gel you ask?

Well I have three reasons why I dont get gel; the cost, travel and quality. Since I am still a student, I dont earn much money as it is and to have to pay over $50 every two weeks on nails really isnt in my budget at the moment. The next is travel, since I dont have a license its so hard to find a time me and my mum is free without taking away from family time. Lastly is quality, most of the time, the quality of nails isnt too good and they chip or crack which doesnt look so crash hot.

Within saying all that, nails look so pretty. The colours, the designs, glitter and just generally how pretty they are. I love going to a nail shop and debating on what to get, then relaxing while they make my fingers magic haha. Its so relaxing. I really enjoy nails and I always go through fazes of loving and hating.

So heres my question for you, what do you prefer? To nail or not to nail, that is the question.

Industrial Piercing

I got this piercing done about 2 weeks ago and I love it. I know my parents didnt want me to get it, but I had wanted it for over a year. After convincing my mum I really wanted it, I went and got it done. I am over 16 and could have got it done either way, but I just didnt want to do it behind my parents back.

This piercing hurt a decent amount, especially since there are two piercings. With that being said, the actual piercing the skin part doesnt last long, so dont let it worry you. This piercing bleed alot more than my piercing usually do, but I found in the first week that the heeling was good. It hurt to touch or sleep on, but it wasnt swollen and didnt hurt unless touched. Now, after 2 weeks, its not swollen, but hurts a wee bit more. I also have so crusty (sorry, I know its gross), but cleaning it helps. The healing is going well.

Hope I have given as much information as possible and recommend this piercing.

A Bit About Me

I guess it would be nice to post a blog about myself :) So my name is Brittany and I am currently a student. I am not sure what career I would like, but I know that I want to eventually own my own beauty shop. I am hoping to become a piercing apprentice and continue to save money for my shop.

I have lots of interests. I absolutely love sports, NRL, AFL, MotoGP, WWE, F1 and V8's. I will watch pretty much anything apart from golf, but those are the ones I follow. I enjoy reading books and spending time on the computer writing. I love to window shop online haha.

I am so excited to start this blog and I will be posting blogs alot (hopefully). I would love to have people following my blog to see updates.

Thanks for spending the time to read this and I hope you enjoy my writing.

xoxo Brittany

Women's Michael Kors Ritz Chronograph Tricolour Watch

I absolutely love watches. I dont own that many right now, but I want more. The watch I am on the hunt for is a rose gold watch. When I saw the Marc Jacobs Rivera Metal Watch, I knew it was the one. But this one has it beat.

I love the first fact it is rose gold. I also love the glitter dashes and how the buttons of the watch are so big. I really like the band of the watch and how it has three colours. I overall love this watch. I find its sorta simple-ish, but has a decent amount of detail too. I mainly love the glitter dashes. The watch is also 10ATM/100m water proof, which is a huge plus for me. The price is roughly $288, which I dont think is too much for the detail put into it.

I got the picture from this link:
